Colin Bonnett, DVM

Dr. Bonnett was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, before going to college at Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana. Fortunately, the mountains and rivers of Montana and the Alaskan summers provided relief and distraction from pursuing a career with his undergraduate degree in Fish and Wildlife Management. He returned to MSU-Bozeman to complete a Master of Science in the microbiology department, studying immunology and infectious disease before enrolling in the Veterinary Medicine program at Washington State University in 2005.

Dr. Bonnett loves the diverse caseload and client interactions of general practice. He has taken additional training to advance his interest in minimally invasive surgery (such as laparoscopy and endoscopy), advanced dentistry, and orthopedic surgery. With an emphasis on client communication and education, he enjoys teaming up with the owners of his patients to implement the best possible care for their pets.

Colin has a bad guitar and mountain bike habit, which he continues to refuse treatment for. When not working, he and his wife Kate and two kids (Ada 8, Evan 4) will be found along the rivers, on the trails, in the mountains, beside the ice-cream stands and playing in the music festivals of the surrounding area! They love being a part of this great community and look forward to enjoying many more years of building great relationships here.

He loves to see his clients and their pets out on the trails and slopes. See you there!
